Lessons on 20 March 2007

Assalamualaikum and salam sejahtera to all.

I'm very happy today because Dr. RM was here with us even for a while. Today i have learned about something interesting from Dr. RM class. It is about how to use and create something special with Adobe Photoshop Software.

En. Sarel instructed and guided us to make an interesting job using this software. He want us to make a poster. It is about what we have learned from the first class untul now. This poster is also to show something that we have engaged before. It is something we can remember about being a member in DipEd 2007 students. It's also wonderful to have such activities and knowledge that we can use to teach in school.

REKABENTUK PENGAJARAN.

Pada 27.2. 2007 juga , saya telah mempelajari tentang rekabentuk pengajaran.

Rekabentuk pengajaran adalah satu proses sistematik yang mana elemen-elemen seperti guru, pelajar, media, bahan pengajaran dan persekitaran pembelajaran diberikan penekanan dan peranan tertentu.

Rekabentuk pengajaran ini adalah penting untuk :
a) menambahkan kecekapan
b) menambahkan keberkesanan
c) memastikan pelajar berminat mempelajari pelajaran yang disampaikan
d) memastikan proses pembelajaran dan pengajaran dilakukan secara kos efektif
e) memastikan kandungan pembelajaran menepati objektif yang diingini
f) memastikan pembelajaran boleh diaplikasikan kepada semua senario yang berpadanan

Terdapat dua model pengajaran iaitu ADDIE dan ASSURE.

Setiap model ini ada lima langkah umum iaitu :-

1) Analisis
  • tentukan matlamat atau objektif pengajaran dan pembelajaran yang hendak dicapai.
  • Objektif ialah terdiri daripada :-

A = Audience

B = Behavior

C = Conditions

D = Degree

2) Rekabentuk - Aspek motivasi ARCS

  • Attention - untuk menarik perhatian pengguna terhadap apa yang dipersembahkan
  • Relevance - Perkaitan antara bahan dan pengajaran dengan matlamat dan objektif
  • Confidence - melalui peringkat dan tahap-tahap kesukaran dari mudah kepada sukar bagi memberi keyakinan terhadap pengguna atau pelajar untuk meneruskan pembelajaran
  • Satisfaction - memberi ganjaran atau pujian terhadap apa yang telah dibuat dalam latihan sebagai memberi kepuasan kepada pengguna.

3) Pembangunan - penyediaan bahan pengajaran seperti secara berperingkat, penggunaan carta alir dan papan cerita.

Lessons on 27 February 2007

On 27th Feb 2007, we have a presentations given by En. Shahril a week earlier. Each group have peresented with their own topics and styles. My group have presented abaout standalaone softwares. We chose Flash Software.

These are some information about Flash.

1) Flash is a tool for creating interactive and animated web sites. Macromedia Flash is a multimedia graphics program specially for use on the web.

2) Flash uses vector graphics which means that the graphics can be scaled to any size without losing clarity/quality.

3) Flash does not require programming skills and is easy to learn.

The advantages of Flash Software.

1) Flash loads much faster than animated images.

2) Flash allows interactivity

3) Flash does not require programming skills and it provides an easy way to put animated and interactive movies on web sites.

4) Flash is catchy especially if the animation and interactivity is used well.

5) you can deliver to your audience engaging applicatoins and web interfaces such as trainijg courses, tutorials and presentations.

The advantages of Flash are :

1) Increases the time the homepage takes to load.
- music and sound files embedded in Flash movies increase their file sizes which in turn increases the download time.

2) Flash is not very search engine friendly.
- human like simple and quick to follow web pages and not a complex and difficult to navigate web site.

3) It is more expansive and time consuming to update and maintain a Flash web site than a traditional web site.

I am also learn about IWB , Smart Schools, other standalone softwares such as Geometer Sketchpad, PDA's, laptops and Dreamweaver Software (web base).

PENGURUSAN MAKMAL KOMPUTER

LESSONS ON 13 FEB 2007

Pada 13 .2.2007, saya telah mempelajari tentang pengurusan makmal komputer. Pengurusan makmal komputer adalah seperti aspek keselamatan komputer, cara susun atur di dalam makmal komputer dan aktiviti yang boleh dijalankan di dalam makmal.

Antara aspek keselamatan komputer ialah :
1) Pastikan komputer tidak berada di dalam suhu yang terlalu panas.
2) Guna "stabilizer" supaya voltan elektrik terkawal.
3) Elakkan komputer terhantuk, tergegar dengan kuat dan terjatuh.
4) Tutup komputer dan peranti unit dengan lapisan plastik
5) Jangan letak komputer di dalam boot kereta.
6) Tanggalkan "plug" daripada soket elektrik
7) Biarkan sistem unit sejuk sebelum membaik pulih komputer.

Kesemua aspek-aspek keselamatan komputer ini adalah perlu untuk memastikan komputer tahan lebih lama dan selamat digunakan.

Antara aktiviti yang boleh dijalankan di dalam makmal komputer ialah :
1) aktiviti bercerita secara online

2)menyanyi

  • pelajar boleh belajar secara aktif melalui pembacaan lirik-lirik lagu di samping mendengar, melihat paparan-paparan yang menarik seperti lagu Old Mcdonalds.

Assalamualaikum and "salam sejahtera " to all. It have been to long i did not visit my own blogger. But now, here i am again.

Lessons on 30 January 2007.

On 30 Jan 2007, I have learned about how to install a driver for printers. Each groups must present with their own ways using soft skills and smart board which is a new trend in teaching and learning.

My groups name is "Kreatif". Our members are Zahidah Zakaria, Noor Aznee Jamel, Lisa Peter ( new member) and me. These are the instructions about how to install a drivers for printers.

1. Go to any search engine such as www.google.com and www.yahoo.com.

2. Then type freedrivers for printers in search box.

3. After that, the list of free drivers printers will appear.

4. Then, choose the types of printers you like. There are a lot of printers such as canon,
linux, Epson and HP.

5. Next, click to the icon Install now/ download now.

6. The drivers were download into your computer.

7. A box will appear and it will ask tou whether you want to Run, Save or Cancel. Then, you
click Save.

8. Now the drivers were ready to use.




I also learn that there are so many ways to install drivers for printers which was presented by each group. They used a different type of URL address to find the drivers. So, I knew about the new websites i have known such as :-


Some of the groups can present very well and some are just fair. My members and I will try our best when we present our next assignment. So , wish me good luck and I really hope for your supports.

My new experience




This is my first week being in the class and i missed my first class because of technical matters.I love to be one of the members. It was very interesting and amazing to learn how we can use our soft skills to teach. In fact, i also learn a new things about a new technology such as Interactive White Board (IWB). This is very new to me and it also makes teaching easier and interesting to both students and teachers.

One of the members of the class make us easier to apply pedagogy of engagement. She gave a simple example but it make us understand very clearly. The example was The Apple.
Learning is facilitated when I engaged in solving real world problems, I was activated with the existing knowledge and can demonstrated and applied it in a real world. In fact i learns how to integrated into this problems. Thanks for the good example, my friends( Kak Lin). I owe u so much.
